HyperCard 2.0 or above, After Dark 2.0 or above and Movies 'Til Dawn, or MoviePlayer 2.0
Description:
Merry Christmas! Here's a gift of eight standard Christmas melodies I composed and recorded in the new QuickTime 2.0 MIDI format. You can use MoviePlayer 2.0 to play them back one at a time. Better yet you can use Multimodule to play them with your favorite After Dark screen savers. A small HyperCard stack I wrote called QTMIDI Jukebox is also included which will play the songs sequentially or one at a time. You can use this stack to playback any QT 2.0 MIDI movies. Just drop the stack into a folder of movies or aliases of movies, launch it and it will automatically load the file names into a play list. Be sure to set HyperCard's (or HyperCard Player's if you are using it instead) preferred memory size in the Get Info box to 2500K or more. If you've never done this before, here's how you do it. Click once on HyperCard (or the HyperCard Player if you are using it instead) in the Finder to highlight it. Then choose Get Info from the File menu (or type Command-i). Type 2500 in the lower right hand box which says "preferred size". Close the Get Info box by clicking the little close box in the upper left hand corner of the window.
The Screen Saver Module folder contains the multimodule called Music which can be used in After Dark and a Read Me file which describes how to install the module and setup After Dark.
The Christmas Music folder contains the eight melodys and the HyperCard stack called QTMIDI Jukebox.
I hope you enjoy these songs and QTMIDI Jukebox. Drop me an e-mail note if you do or send me a Christmas card.
